Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS)
The VTOS scheme provides unemployed adults with opportunities to return to full-time education and training. Participants must be over 21 years of age and in receipt of Social Welfare payments for at least 6 months (156 days).
VTOS programmes are free to participants who may also be entitled to a meal and/or travel allowance. Students do not pay any examination fees and there is no payment required for course materials.
