Visit to Dublin City University

Community Health Services Level 5 and Healthcare Supervisory Management Level 6 attended a workshop given by Age Friendly Nursing Dept. within Dublin City University on 15th December. Healthcare Level 5 & 6 attended excellent information talks within the area of Age Friendly given by Christine o’ Kelly [Age Friendly Coordinator DCU] 

Additionally, students gained an understanding of Intergenerational Learning Programme given by Dr. Cathy Fowley and Participants of this Age Friendly programme.Students gained a deep understanding of Elevator Dementia Programme presented by  Dr. Kate Irving. Careers Advice Office  within the area of Nursing, Psychology and Social Science discussed navigating from FETAC to HETAC. 

Finally, Christine O' Kelly [Age Friendly Coordinator @DCU] provided an information tour of the DCU Nursing Building.
