Pre-Apprenticeship Computer Technology
This flexible course is designed to introduce the learner to the fundamentals of installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems and basic networks. A mix of blended learning to include online class based and lab work will enhance the learners experience to achieve their full academic potential. It also facilitates progression in training, education including further and higher education.
Pre-Apprenticeship Accounting Technician
Colaiste Ide in partnership with Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) have responded to the need for how people can prepare themselves for entry to an Accounting Technicians Apprenticeship, and a future career in accountancy.
We have created this innovative Pre Apprenticeship Pathways programme, which will be taught on site in Colaiste Ide, or if necessitated can be fully taught online until completion.
Accounting & Business Skills To Compete
The Accounting and Business Skills programme is a part-time course and takes place completely online, so you can study at home, at your own pace.At the end of the 8-month programme, you will receive the ATI Certificate for Accounting Technicians which is equated to a Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
Accounting Technician (ATI)
This course is aimed at students who are interested in pursuing a career in Accounting Finance. Learners are taught key accounting concepts, principles of accounting and the knowledge and skills required to understand personal and business taxation regulations. They will gain an understanding of core business functionsin management, marketing and law.
Computer Systems & Networks with Cyber Security
Business Studies, Marketing and Human Resources Level 5
Students will gain a general education in the Business Studies area, together with a specialised knowledge of Marketing & Human Resources.
Office Administration with Reception Skills Level 5
Students will acquire the necessary skills to become proficient in modern office technology. They will also gain the knowledge and skills required for effective office administration.
Tourism, Travel, Airline Studies and Cabin Crew
This one-year course gives the learner a comprehensive introduction to the travel and tourism industries. Students are equipped with best-practice skills required to secure employment in the tourism industry, as cabin crew, airport ground handling staff or in travel consultancy.
Tourism Level 6
This one-year, full-time Diploma course is designed for those seeking to pursue a career in the travel and tourism industry, enabling students to gain a broad understanding of travel agency and airline operations.
