| Coláiste Íde Soccer in California
It’s back to the books for the Coláiste Íde Soccer students having just returned from our annual soccer trip to the USA. This year’s trip was to Ventura, California and was the first time we have travelled to the West Coast of America but hopefully not the last.
| Health Promotion Week 2019
Students from a wide range of programmes within the college delivered various health promotion activities throughout the week. The aim being to promote and create awareness of Mental Health, Physical Health, Suicide Awareness & Prevention and Sexual Health.
| SAFE - Suicide Awareness Finglas Event
AN EVENT in aid of the Finglas Suicide Network is being held by students in Coláiste Íde on Saturday, March 23, to raise awareness and provide support for the local cause. The event will run from 12pm to 5pm in Leisure Point, Coláiste Íde.
| New Programme in Physical Education and Coaching
This course is aimed at individuals with a keen interest in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. This innovative Level-6 QQI certified programme is specifically tailored as an access programme for third level studies.
| New Programme in Pre-University Home Economics Teaching
There is currently a national shortage of teachers in the discipline of Home Economics. The Teaching Council categorize the subject as being in “critical” shortage.
| Concern over drop out rates in Computer Science at Third Level
Concern over drop-out rates in computer science courses. Up to 80% of students in some courses are failing to progress to second year. Use the Computer Systems & Networks with Cyber Security programme in Colaiste Ide as the first step on your path to success. Gain a strong, broad foundation in computing prior to commencing third level study.

| Homeless Soup Run 2018
We want to acknowledge the commitment and hard work of all the Team Leaders and Volunteers who took part in the 6th Annual Homeless Soup Run.
| Culinary Experience
The Colaiste Ide Culinary students operate a range of themed restaurants throughout the course of their study. Themes include a diverse range of concepts from Disney, Carnival and a Food Festival theme to Hawaiian Luau, Mexican, Asian and a range of other appealing themes from around the world.
