Students attending full-time approved Courses in Colaiste Ide for the 2014/2015 academic session are eligible to apply for a maintenance grant. The grant is available to first time PLC students.

This course is a one - year Post Leaving Diploma, which gives students the key skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in the Wellness and Beauty Industry. while at the same time obtaining a sound general knowledge in areas needed to function in the wellness environment. This course leads to an ITEC Beauty Specialist Diploma and a certificate from FLAIR in Nail Technology. Computer Systems and Networks with Cyber Security

Build a strong broad foundation in Computing: course includes Mobile App Development, Computer Programming (Java, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS), Virtual Machines / Operating Systems, Computer Networking and Computer Hardware. Course Charges

There are no Course Fees, however, all students will still be liable for the payment of all examination and certification fees and charges for membership of professional bodies, where applicable.

Specifically tailored as an access programme for third level studies, successful graduates may apply for advanced entry to a number of Degree Programmes.

National Commis Chef (Apprenticeship)

The Commis Chef Apprenticeship is the starting point for a career as a professional chef. Colaiste Ide in partnership with Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) have responded to the need for how people can prepare themselves for entry to an Accounting Technicians Apprenticeship, and a future career in accountancy.
We have created this innovative Pre Apprenticeship Pathways programme, which will be taught on site in Colaiste Ide, or if necessitated can be fully taught online until completion.
